What is simply™?
Based on National Curriulum requirements and constructed totally in line with the National Numeracy and Literacy strategies, the simply™ programme uses current teaching methods and is primarily designed to supplement and support classroom work for students aged between 5 and 16 years old.

simply™ can make preparation and planning easier for teachers.
simply™ can support both teaching staff and non-teaching staff in the delivery of maths and English to classes and to groups.
simply™ can, where necessary, support the delivery of specific topic content directly to individuals - without causing embarrassment to, or placing peer pressure on, the student. In addition, it can do all of this without placing additional strain on the school’s teaching resources.

	Why simply™?
	The simply™ maths and English teaching resources can provide headteachers and their staff with access to a complete range of National Curriculum based support material for key stages 1,2 and 3, which combines audio-visual delivery methods with traditional 'tried and tested' teaching styles.
	The simplicity of using static or portable DVD players brings in a brand new dimension in flexibility and ease of use for teaching. There is no IT technician required for the simply™ teaching resource. There is no IT room booking required for the simply™ teaching resource. The simply™ resource can play on any PC or DVD player and is ideal for use on an interactive whiteboard. The simply™ teaching resource can be easily set up in the corner of classroom, learning support department or library. The simply™ teaching resource is compact and easy to use in any size of classroom.
How can simply™ be used?
The simply™ maths & English teaching resource can be used to individualise teaching to enable teachers to meet their pupils’ specific learning needs.
Teachers will be able to identify a very specific aspect of a topic for further intensive work with individuals or for small groups. Pupils can, when necessary, re-visit previously covered topics by watching the audio-visual teaching within the simply™ resource and then complete the relevant exercises to reinforce and confirm understanding.
Because the lessons are short and concise, the retention levels of the pupils will be maximised. If they don’t understand the lesson they can simply `rewind´ it and watch it again.

The simply™ teaching resource provides the ability to teach small groups or individual pupils and support them with the full knowledge that they are accurately following the National Curriculum and not `helping in the wrong way’.
A teaching tool for children The simply™ programme provides pupils with a complete reference library of National Curriculum maths and English teaching, which can, when necessary, be accessed easily and quickly. The simply™ programme can be used to re-visit previously covered topics by watching the audio-visual teaching of the simply™ resource and completing the relevant exercises to reinforce and confirm complete understanding.
	Short and concise lessons, with complete ease of repetition, ensure that retention levels of individual pupils will be maximised. If they don’t understand the lesson or are unable to complete the exercise, they can simply `rewind´ it and watch the lesson again. The simply™ programme affords pupils a degree of independence in a controlled environment, enabling them to gain a real sense of achievement when completing a task, under the direction of, but unassisted by, the teacher.
